What's Trakt.tv?

Trakt.tv is a free service that let's you keep track of what you are watching on kodi or on any devices. By use the track service you can organize your favorites movies and tv shows. And in this tutorial, we are going to focus on two specific Trakt features: List and Collection 

For Lists: You can create a custom lists for yourself here, Trakt comes with a default watchlist you can use to add all the shows and movies you’d like to check out.

1. To view your lists select “Lists” from the Profile Menu.

2. Add new lists using the “Add Lists” button.

For Collection: it’s similar to the library on Kodi, here you’ll add your favorite movies and tv shows.

1. To view your collection select Collection from the Profile Menu on the top-right corner.

2. Use the Filter to select Shows or Movies.

3. You can Sort the results by Title or Date.

To add any movies or show to your collections with Trakt.tv, let's select "TV" from the Top Menu then click on the green book icon button that located under the image of your preferred movies or shows
1. Use the buttons under each Movies to "Mark as watched", "Add to a List", or "Add to Collections"
2. Using the search box to seach any specific movies or shows
3. Click on Popular of Trending to explore more new shows or new movies

Note: Any movies or show from the watchlist that will be automatically removed once they are marked as watched. The Custum lists and Collections are persistent.

How To Activate Trakt with Covenant

Step 1: Open Covenant addons, then click Tools

Open Covenant, then click Tools

Step 2: Continue click on TRAKT: Authorize

Click On TRAKT: Authorize from tools list

Step 3: Covenant will generate an authorization code, write it down.

Covenant will generate an authorization code, copy or write it to anywhere.

Step 4: Now open your browser, visit to https://trakt.tv/activate/ and enter the authorization code. Press Continue and then press Yes allow Covenant to use your Trakt account

Step 5: Back in Kodi your Trakt username should now appear next to Trakt authorization. Press OK to confirm.

Now, the trakt autorization is appear on covenant, click OK to confirm

Note: By confirm authorizing Trakt with Covenant. All My Movies, My Tv shows or News episodes will available on Covenant's main menu

How To Accessing Trakt with Covenant

From now, you can use Covenant addons kodi to access or follow your Trakt collection, Custom lists or Watchlist from here.

Step 6: Go back to Covenant main menu then select My movies or My TV Shows

Step 7: Your Trakt Collection and lists are here

All your trakt will available in there. Progress acts as a bookmark for your shows and Episodes will show you the newest episodes of each show on your lists or collections

How To Adding Items to Trakt with Covenant

Step 8: Select any Movie and Tv shows that you want, then open the Context Menu and click on Trakt Manager (You can open the Context menu by right-click or long pressing on an item or pressing the C key from your remote)

Right click on any movies that you want to open Context menu then click on Trakt manager

Step 9: From Trakt manager box, you can add or remove collection or watchlist etc...

You can using Trakt Manager to add or remove items from your Collection and Lists 

Once Trakt is authorized with covenant, you can import your Watchlist or your Collection to the library via going to Tools > Library and selecting the import option.
